Campaigns — one-time email broadcasts
Also known as: one-time sends, broadcasts, blasts, newsletters, email campaigns. The /campaign-view page in the console is where you create these.
A campaign is the right tool when you want to ship one email to a defined audience on a schedule you pick. Unlike flows, a campaign fires once — pick recipients, pick a template, hit Send now or Schedule. That's it.
Creating a campaign
Open Campaigns → Create campaign and fill in:
- Recipients — a list or a segment.
- Template — the design you want to send.
- Sender name, subject, preheader, reply-to — standard header fields.
- Sending domain — which authenticated domain signs the message.
Sending vs. scheduling
Once everything's set you can either Send now (goes out immediately) or Schedule (pick a date+time). Scheduled campaigns sit in the queue and can be cancelled any time before the send window opens.
A/B testing
Click Add variation on the subject line to A/B test. Aigeon will split recipients, send each variation to a configurable percentage, measure open rate in the test window, and send the winner to the remainder.
Monitoring the send
During a live send the campaign page shows:
- Queued / sending / sent counters.
- A live-updating funnel: delivered → opened → clicked.
- Real-time bounce + complaint rates, with alerts if the rates exceed thresholds.
Post-send analytics
After send, the campaign detail page aggregates every engagement event: open rate, click rate, unsub rate, click heatmap on the template, top performing links, bounce reasons. Export any of these as CSV.
