Onboarding (the 4-step welcome wizard)

Also known as: welcome wizard, guided setup, getting started wizard, first-run experience. The /onboarding page runs this automatically on your first login.

When you first sign up, Aigeon opens a 4-step guided wizard at /onboarding that walks you from empty org to first send.

The four steps

  1. Upload contacts — upload a CSV or skip to use the API later. Duplicate emails are merged; the first row wins for conflicting fields.
  2. Setup details — confirm your organization name, logo, brand color, and timezone. These seed template defaults and email headers.
  3. Create a template — pick from the Template Market or start from blank. You'll be dropped into Editor v2 with a simplified toolbar.
  4. Set up your first send — create a one-time campaign using the uploaded list and the template you just saved. Send-now or schedule.

Each step is skippable and resumable — close the tab and it'll pick up where you left off when you come back.

Re-running the wizard

Open Settings → Owner → Restart onboarding at any time to relaunch the wizard. Useful if you want to walk a new team member through the first-run flow without losing your existing data.

Onboarding for large migrations

If you're migrating from another ESP (Mailchimp, Beehiiv, ConvertKit, SendGrid, …) with a big list or complex automations, don't self-serve.
